J5: a new personalized mobile application delivers the news that matters to you

And a new revamped web site for Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec

Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec are innovating and redefining the way news is delivered with “J5” – a personalized mobile news app – and a brand new web site.

A personalized free mobile app

With their new “J5” mobile app, Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec provide readers with a new tailored reading experience. “J5” is iOS and Android-compatible and enables readers to select the news they want to receive in accordance with their interests. Once users have downloaded the app, they can pick 5 news categories of interest to them as well as 5 favourite columnists or bloggers. In addition, “J5” delivers the 5 most significant current news items at all times. So, thanks to “J5,” readers can follow the news that matters to them in real time with access to the 20 most recent news items.

Thanks to these features, “J5” stands out from all other news applications in the market today.

A new web site designed to dazzle

Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec have joined forces to provide their readers with an innovative web site that redefines the way news is delivered. Designed for an easy and enhanced navigation experience, it features highly visual design that adapts to all types of devices, from the widest computer screens to all tablets to the smallest smart phones. It also features a seamless, user-friendly, and interactive navigation experience.
