France Lauzière

France Lauzière was appointed Chief of Content of Quebecor Content and President and CEO of TVA Group on October 13, 2017. Previously, she held the position of Senior Vice President, Content of Quebecor Content, and Vice President, Programmingof TVA Group.

France Lauzière joined TVA Group in 2001 and became head of programming for TVA Network in 2006. Under her responsibility, Québec’s television leader maintained the lead that makes it the envy of many television networks around the world. The production of flagship shows such as Star Académie, La Voix and Les beaux malaises helped strengthen TVA Network’s dominant position. France was also behind the modernization of TVA’s visual identity in 2012 and TVA Network’s recent moves to appeal to younger audiences with series such as Pour Sarah and La Voix junior.

With her strategic vision, motivational leadership style and passion for content, France Lauzière helped developped some of the most important innovations in content creation and multiplatform distribution for the changing media and digital landscape. When Quebecor Content was created in 2013, she took the helm of a solid team whose innovative approach to partnering for content creation, acquisition and multiplatform distribution on all of Quebecor’s platforms has made it possible to offer the best content produced in Québec (such as Mensonges, Blue Moon and Victor Lessard) and abroad. That strategy has driven robust growth in recent years at the broadcast TVA Network, many of TVA Group’s specialty channels and Club illico, Videotron’s French-language SVOD service.

In keeping with her interest in content, France Lauzière serves on the board of La Factry, a school for creativity dedicated to forging creative minds equipped to find new solutions to contemporary challenges. In 2015, she was honoured by the Association Femmes du cinéma, de la télévision et des médias numériques.
