Manon Brouillette, President and COO of Videotron, receives Mérite leadership Germaine-Gibara award

Manon Brouillette, President and Chief Operating Officer of Videotron, received the “Mérite leadership Germaine-Gibara” award in the large company category at the 34th Mercuriades awards ceremony. The Germaine-Gibara leadership award, bestowed by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ), recognizes exceptional businesswomen who have demonstrated leadership, risk-taking and influence within their industry over the course of their career.

I am very honoured to receive this award. It rightfully belongs to all my colleagues: I consider myself privileged to be surrounded by a terrific team that is constantly innovating and pushing the envelope in order to maintain Videotron’s industry-leading position and deliver the best possible customer experience.

Manon Brouillette has been President and COO of Videotron, a Québec-based company with 6,000 talented employees, since May 2013. She joined Videotron in 2004 as Vice President, Marketing & Product Development, and quickly distinguished herself by virtue of her natural leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to pursue a far-sighted strategic vision. Over the past 10 years, she has played a key role in Videotron’s phenomenal growth, spearheading the most important projects in the company’s history, including Videotron’s entry into the mobile market in record time, the launch of its cable telephone service, the development of Ultimate Speed Internet access services and the introduction of illico TV new generation, illico mobile and Club illico.
