Quebecor’s Book Group is the leading publisher of French-language books in Canada. Its core subsidiary Sogides comprises 18 publishing houses divided into 3 families: Groupe Homme, Groupe Ville-Marie Littérature and Groupe Librex. Every year, they publish hundreds of titles, including many award-winners and Québec bestsellers.
Sogides’ publishing houses include Éditions de l’Homme, Petit Homme, Libre Expression, Stanké, Guides Voir, VLB, l’Hexagone, La Bagnole and Éditions du Journal. They publish books in a wide range of genres, including novels, biographies, essays, how-to books, poetry and children’s literature, by both established and emerging writers.
