5@7 Les Grandes histoires arts affaires de Montréal: Bringing music into the museum

Update

On Monday evening close to 60 young professionals had a chance to meet Pierre Bourgie, renowned patron of the visual arts and music, and Isolde Lagacé, General and Artistic Director of Arte Musica, at a get-together organized by the Brigade Arts Affaires de Montréal (BAAM). The guest speakers talked about their personal histories and how their encounter turned into a success story. The event was part of BAAM’s “5@7 Les Grandes histoires arts affaires de Montréal” series of up-close-and-personal gatherings to discuss the interface between business and the arts in Montréal.

As a partner of BAAM, Quebecor was there to support the organization’s mission of getting young businesspeople interested and involved in the arts community. J. Serge Sasseville Senior Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Affairs, explained why Quebecor backs BAAM:

Cultural vitality makes a society richer, more creative and more open. Support for culture should be a natural and permanent part of what businesses do because it benefits the entire community.
