Videotron Business Solutions is happy to be presenting the 5th annual edition of the International Startup Festival (http://www.startupfestival.com/home/), to be held in Montréal from July 15 to 18, 2015. During this event, hundreds of business founders, innovators and entrepreneurs will take Montréal’s Old Port by storm for four days of inspiring discussions and presentations on entrepreneurship.

Once again this year, we are delighted at the idea of participating in this major event that lets influencers from Québec and elsewhere interact, be inspired, and present their ideas to their colleagues from around the world. Year after year, this festival demonstrates that Québec is brimming with creative entrepreneurs who are constantly looking for innovative solutions. At Videotron Business Solutions, entrepreneurship is built right into our DNA, so it only makes sense for us to encourage innovation by taking part in this meet-up where participants can think and create differently.

Inspiring and mentoring the next generation

THE PITCH, presented by Videotron Business Solutions and MAtv

From noon to 6 pm on Thursday, July 16, entrepreneurs attending the festival can participate in THE PITCH, an activity and contest sponsored by Videotron Business Solutions and MAtv. With the help of the MAtv team, each participant will create a “virtual business card” that presents their startup business in 25 seconds or less. The winning startup will receive a prize consisting of more than $30,000 worth of services and exposure, including an advertising campaign on MAtv, coverage in Le Journal de Montréal, and three months’ access to Notman House.

Win or lose, all participating startups will receive their virtual business card a few days after the festival. Their presentation videos may also be shown on MAtv (Channel 9, 609 in HD). The Videotron Business Solutions tent will be available to attendees throughout the Festival and will be equipped with cellphone recharging stations to help everyone stay connected.
