Videotron asserts MAtv’s community focus and rejects the claims made in a class action suit

Videotron wishes to emphasize that MAtv is a community channel and its programming has always revolved around the interests of the local communities it serves. MAtv’s local programs focus on what is happening in Montréal, Québec City-Lévis, Sherbrooke, Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Sorel-Tracy, Granby, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and the Outaouais.

Videotron therefore rejects the claims on which a motion for authorization to institute a class action announced today are based.
